How does Mabanol CoolMatic work?

The intelligent, fully automatic fill level control of the Mabanol CoolMatic ensures a permanently optimised cooling lubricant supply to the systems while at the same time avoiding manual intervention and reducing overall process costs. The functionality of the Mabanol CoolMatic is explained below.

Refilling is carried out several times a day in small quantities to ensure a constant fill level with a constant cooling lubricant concentration. This significantly increases the stability of the cooling lubricant and reduces unexpected failures due to bacterial and fungal growth. The consistent lubrication performance also ensures high machining and product quality, reducing tool wear and the number of faulty parts.

  1. System separator

    The system separator is used to connect the mixing device to the central supply line and at the same time protects the fresh water installation against backflow, backpressure or backsiphonage of water.

  2. Mixing device

    A proportional mixing device ensures that the cooling lubricant is supplied in the correct concentration at the optimum mixing ratio. It is also possible to use an existing mixing device, provided it is compatible with Mabanol CoolMatic.

  3. Control unit

    The control unit regulates the fully automatic refilling of the machine tank with the premixed cooling lubricant. The controlled, safe and intervention-free supply of cooling lubricant ensures optimum supply, tool life, lubrication performance and workpiece quality.

  4. Float switch and sensor

    The level of cooling lubricant in the system tank is continuously measured by the float. If the fill level is below the set target value, a signal is sent to the control unit for refilling.
